As a child growing up in Southern California, Beverly always loved art and had a secret vision of living in the country and painting in the woods. Although the realities of life, marriage and children postponed her dream, that vision came true when she relocated to the Sierra Foothills in 1995 and was finally able to pursue her love of art. While working as a tax consultant, she took a number of art classes, became a web designer and started painting in 2005. Beverly’s desire is to paint from her heart and hopefully be able to offer that love and experience to the people who view her work.
Beverly uses oils and acrylics as her principal mediums. Most recently, she is exploring the wonder of both the real and ethereal world of scenic and astral landscapes. Her paintings present a remarkable interpretation of the world as we might see it and imagine it.
Beverly has studied with internationally known artists and has attended many top artists' workshops. She is a member of the California Art Club, Placerville Arts Association, El Dorado Hills Arts Association and The El Dorado Arts Council.
In addition to earning numerous awards, Beverly’s works are on display in a number of private collections and available for viewing and purchase at Gold Country Artists Gallery in Placerville, CA.
